Cynthia Leal Massey  

Cynthia Leal-MasseyCynthia Leal Massey is an award winning author of several books and hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles. Former editor-at-large of a general interest magazine in San Antonio, she has also been a newspaper reporter, an editor of corporate communications, and served on the San Antonio College adjunct English faculty. She writes full-time, and is currently working on a nonfiction book on a Texas Ranger killing that occurred in Helotes in 1873. She also authors a monthly column for the town's local newspaper, The Helotes Echo.

She has authored two award winning books and has a new book; Helotes: Where the Texas Hill Country Begins - February 2008
